POMFRET – A vehicle that allegedly contained a meth lab made an illegal turn before being stopped Wednesday, according to New York State Police.
Authorities said once the vehicle was stopped, Trooper Vincent Mangione noticed the driver, identified as Jodi Denmead, appeared impaired.
Police said as the investigation progressed they discovered the components to a methamphetamine lab.
Denmead and the passenger, identified as Jefferey Schermerhorn, were taken into custody.
Both suspects also allegedly possessed counterfeit money during the arrest.
The pair was arraigned on a multitude of felony charges including meth manufacturing, drug possession, and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
Both appeared before a judge Wednesday evening.
