Study: Legal Marijuana Is A Boon For The Economy

PUEBLO COUNTY, COLORADO – Legalizing Marijuana could spark up local economies, according to a new report from the Colorado State University-Pueblo Institute of Cannabis Research.
Those involved with the data say taxing and regulating pot added nearly 60-million dollars to the economy in Pueblo County, Colorado.
Researchers also say legal pot led to a boost in housing values and was not a contributing factor to homelessness.
A report from New Frontier, a Cannabis analytics firm, says legalizing Marijuana federally could produce more than 105-billion dollars within the next few years.
Twenty-nine states and Washington D.C. allow marijuana for medical use.
Recreational use of pot is legal in nine states and D.C.
