Suspected Jamestown Cocaine Dealer Held In Federal Custody Following Detention Hearing

BUFFALO-A federal judge denied an alleged drug trafficker’s bail during a detention hearing on Monday. 

Odessin McBride, 38, was arrested by Jamestown Police and the Drug Enforcement Administration May 19th following a raid of his Sampson St. home.

Police Chief Harry Snellings said the raid culminated an investigation into the sales and trafficking of cocaine in and around the City of Jamestown.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office said investigators recovered cash, digital scales, a shrink-wrapping machine and several ounces of cocaine following a search of McBride’s residence.

McBride is charged with possession with intent to distribute, and distribution of cocaine. The charges carry a maximum penalty of 30 years in prison and a $2,000,000 fine.
