Suspected Water Main Break Floods Main Street Bridge


JAMESTOWN – Crews have contained a suspected water main break on the Main Street Bridge Downtown that flooded parts of the roadway in Brooklyn Square Thursday night.

WNYNewsNow Reporter Matt Hummel was on scene as BPU crews worked to repair the break.
The bridge is currently under construction and is expected to be complete sometime this fall. It is unknown if the bridge sustained damage from the flooding.
An estimated five inches of water flowed on to the roadway.
