MAYVILLE – Chautauqua County District Attorney Patrick Swanson has been named to serve on the Board of Directors of the District Attorney’s Association of the State of New York. He was unanimously approved.
Swanson is only the second Chautauqua County District Attorney to serve on the board. The last was James Subjack who was County DA from 1994 to 2005.
“Being asked to serve on the board of such a storied and respected Association is an honor and a privilege,” Swanson said. “Being from a smaller county my aim is to educate the Association on the issues that face smaller, less wealthy counties. There is no one size fits all approach to New York State and I think the Association does a phenomenal job recognizing each county’s unique challenges.”
“Representing Chautauqua County, I look forward to being part of an over century old institution whose primary objective is the fair and ethical administration of justice,” He said.
