OLEAN-St. Bonaventure University will be abuzz tonight as the Men’s Basketball team tips off a new season versus Niagara.
The Bonnies return four starters and seven letter winners. Their back-court includes Jaylen Adams and Matt Mobley who combined to score almost 40 points a game last year.
The rivalry between St. Bonaventure and Niagara dates back to the 1920-21 season. This will be the 158th meeting in the series, which the Bonnies lead 88-69.
St. Bonaventure will play three straight at home hosting Maryland-Eastern Shore next Wednesday and Jackson State November 18th.
The Bonnies have won their last six games against Niagara dating to 2011, including a 79-69 decision last December at KeyBank Center in the Big 4 Classic doubleheader.
