FALCONER – The Body Shoppe, a tattoo and piercing parlor at 354 W. Main St., had it’s grand re-opening after their first establishment was burnt down.
The grand re-opening went from 12-9 p.m. Saturday at the shop in Falconer.
There were a variety of contests for gift certificates, and raffles to win basket prizes. Visitors also had opportunities to sign up for a consultation for a tattoo. With a $20 deposit, a 10% discount was given for every consult for tattoos. There were also opportunities to win a free tattoo from a specific artist.
The artists of the shop were present for a meet-and-greet, and tours of the new shop were given.
Art portfolios from the artists were also presented for any visitors who wanted to take a look at past artwork.
Free refreshments were also provided, and there was a ribbon cutting ceremony.
David Luke, owner of The Body Shoppe, stated, “It’s been a long journey to get where we’re at. We would like to thank the Fire Department and local businesses for the support.”
Luke also thanked his family and friends for all of the support during a dire time.
