DUNKIRK-A two-car accident Saturday morning at the intersection of Bennett State and Stebbins Rds. stemmed from one of the cars failing to stop at a stop sign according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Margarita Sanchez, 40, reportedly drove the vehicle that failed to stop, striking the other vehicle driven by 46-year-old Jennifer Hilliker of Forestville.
Both drivers reportedly sustained non life-threatening injuries. Hilliker was transported to Lake Shore Hospital while Sanchez was Starflighted to ECMC.
Sanchez was reportedly cited for failure to stop at a stop sign.
