CARROLL-A fire that reportedly originated in the garage destroyed a home at 1004 Wigren Rd. Friday evening.
Frewsburg Fire Third Assistant Chief Daniel Sisson told WNYNewsNow that when he arrived shortly before 5 pm the garage and much of the house was fully engulfed in flames.
Sisson said no injures were reported and the structure is considered a total loss.
The Red Cross is reportedly assisting the displaced family as fire crews continue to investigate the blaze’s origin.
Officials believe the fire was accidental.
