JAMESTOWN-A multitude of workers from the city and elsewhere spent about two hours installing the Christmas tree on Tracy Plaza at City Hall on Monday.
The 40 foot tall white spruce was uprooted from Bergman Park.
The Board of Public Utilities used a crane to install the tree which Lake Shore Paving transported downtown.
Officials tell us more than 3,000 LED lights will be used to cover the 35 foot wide tree.
The annual Christmas Parade and tree lighting ceremony is set for Friday, December 1, 2017.
