Westfield Woman Accused Of Driving While Impaired By Drugs, Child Was Reportedly In Car

SHERMAN – A Westfield woman allegedly drove while impaired by drugs with a child in the car Sunday, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office. 
Nancy Gibbons, 45, was reportedly pulled over for speeding on Route 430.  Gibbons was taken into custody and charged with driving while ability impaired under Leandra’s Law (felony), driving while ability impaired by drugs, third degree aggravated unlicensed operation and speeding.
Gibbons is being held in the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of pre-arraignment bail. A Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the arrest.
