WNY News Now Thanks Its Readers, Sponsors During Startup Process

JAMESTOWN-Start-up businesses are hard to construct regardless of its service type. Journalism is one of the toughest areas to build a business due to the fluctuation of various reputations.

WNY News Now has evolved into a legitimate news outlet in just under two months, moving from Gould’s house into our office at the Willow Bay Commerce Center on E. 3rd St. last weekend.

Willow Bay, a property of the Lynn Development Group, is the perfect fit for our growing agency. The Lynns are very welcoming and receptive towards our mission for 2017 and beyond.

“On behalf of Lynn Development and Lynn Real Estate Solutions, we are extremely pleased to welcome WNYNewsNow into the Willow Bay Commerce Center,” Director of Accounting Heather Lynn said. “Business development in our community is always important to our team and any time we can foster a relationship with a growing business, we get excited.”

Justin, Ryan and myself would still be in Gould’s house if it wasn’t for our sponsors and readers. We are extremely proud and humbled to grow while serving our community.

All three of us have unique experience in the field of journalism, working hard each day to provide unique content for our readers and sponsors alike. Our goal is to highlight both positive and negative components of our community as they arise.

We all provide various degrees of talent when producing content, a crucial characteristic of success. Photojournalist Brian Crawford will join our efforts starting this week and we couldn’t be more proud.

Crawford has collaborated with us on numerous projects throughout our careers, demonstrating his filming/editing capabilities. We have no doubt Crawford’s efforts will continue with us.

The four of us will continue to bring news quickly and accurately for your consumption. On a personal note, I’ll resume sports coverage in the next few weeks. I have spent much of my efforts assisting with news and business affairs throughout the past seven weeks.

I do plan on expanding my sports coverage to fit the reader’s wants as soon as possible. Please bare with us while making   arrangements to ensure our success with sports reporting.

We’ll answer any questions you have either in the comments section on the site or our Facebook page.
