WNY’s Red Cross To Help Respond To Hurricane Florence

The American Red Cross in Western New York is sending over a dozen volunteers and two emergency response vehicles to help respond to Hurricane Florence.
The Red Cross says that, nationally, they already have response preparations ongoing in Virginia and North and South Carolina. As many as 100,000 people may need emergency shelter as the storm approaches the coast.
Right now, officials warn that a potentially deadly storm surge will be flooding inland.
