JAMESTOWN-The Southern Tier Xpress will host a celebration Friday evening during its Northwest Arena season finale vs. the Vengeance of Pittsburgh per the Xpress Facebook page.
The Xpress will hand out posters to the first 400 in attendance. Following the game, Xpress players will be available for autographs and photo opportunities. The arena also plans to sell $1 beer.
Team Captain Luke Grossman will play in his final home Junior career game. Grossman, a native of the Pittsburgh area, has helped the community greatly both during the season and the off-season.
The team released the following on its Facebook page:
“On behalf of the Southern Tier Xpress, we would like to personally thank each and every fan out there that has supported our team since Day 1. We cannot appreciate the support more! We are very grateful to have the best fans in the league! We have the best attendance in the league as well!”
