NEW YORK – A former top aide to New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo was found guilty Tuesday in a corruption trial.
Joseph Percoco has been found guilty on two counts of conspiracy and one count of solicitation of a bribe.
He was found not guilty of extortion.
Percoco was accused of collecting $300,000 dollars in bribes from three executives from two companies with state business.
Three others are accused in the case.
Jurors in the Federal District Court in Manhattan brought down the decision around noon on Tuesday.
