MAYVILLE – The New York State Deputies Association (NYSDA) has endorsed James Quattrone for Sheriff of Chautauqua County.
NYSDA works for all employees of sheriffs in New York State. This includes deputy sheriffs, correction officers, emergency service dispatchers, court security officers, and individuals holding many other sworn and civilian titles.
Quattrone released the following statement:
“NYSDA recognizes the importance of working together to solve various issues that the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office encounters. It is through collaboration both inside and outside the Sheriff’s Office that we will be able to effectively and efficiently provide the needed services to keep our community safe and secure. My experience, training, and education has prepared me to effectively collaborate with our staff, outside agencies and organizations to work through issues that we face in Chautauqua County.
While working together in a collaborative and cooperative manner we can develop positive efforts to combat the drug epidemic which has led to increased crime rates, increased rates of incarceration, and increased financial costs to our county residents. We need to find smarter ways to combat these issues and reduce the rates recidivism.
I look forward to developing these positive partnerships with the various agencies that are working hard to make Chautauqua County a great place to live for all. I encourage people to get out to vote on November 6 so we can experience positive change in Chautauqua County.”
