JHS Celebrates Homecoming This Week

JAMESTOWN – Jamestown High School will hold its annual Homecoming Weekend this Friday and Saturday. 
The annual Homecoming Parade will take place at 6 p.m. Friday starting at the Allen Park Ice Arena to Strider Field. The JHS Varsity Red Raiders Football team plays Frontier at 7 p.m.
Homecoming activities continue Saturday with one home sporting event: Varsity Boys Soccer Home vs. Southwestern at 2 p.m.
The 2018 JHS Homecoming Court is: Caleb Abbey, Drew Boggs, Gavin Bowen, Macey Lundmark, Christian Dolce, Olivia Gates, Finley Holt, Grayson Holt, Gigi Mead, Elle Noon, Regan Nordwall, Peyton Olson, Lauren Peters, Riley Porter, Matthew Roehmholdt, Sarah Russo, Jayden Schultz, Nolan Stevenson, Allie Stockwell and Kara Triscari.
Throughout the school week, JHS will celebrate “Spirit Week” with a Pep Rally ending the week. Each day has a different theme: Tuesday – Twin Day, Wednesday- Hawaiian Day, Thursday – Decade Day and Friday- Red and Green Day.
The Jamestown Axemen, a professional firefighter group, will collect school supplies for their “Fill the Bus” campaign before the JHS Football game on Friday at both entrances to Strider Field.
