CLYMER – A substation was recently established at the Clymer Central School, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies will be using the substation for reports, interviews, and other law enforcement related matters.
Sheriff Joe Gerace called this a “win-win” for the sheriff’s office and the school district.
“I wish to thank School Superintendent Ed Bailey and the Clymer Central School Board of Education,” Gerace said. “This is a win-win agreement for the district, and the sheriff’s office. It gives deputies a strategic location to work from and, at the same time, provides a law enforcement presence for the school.
In early June, the Sheriff’s Office also opened a substation in the Pine Valley School District.
