Washhington Middle School Students Reach Out to Local Agencies for Thanksgiving

JAMESTOWN  –  Students at Washington Middle School held their annual food drive to honor the Thanksgiving Holiday, raising food donations for four area agencies.

Each grade selected a different agency and collected food. In addition, Farm Fresh Foods donated turkeys to the drive. Grade five students donated to The Hispanic Outreach Council to help the influx of families moving in from hurricane stricken Puerto Rico.

Sixth graders donated to the Anew Women and Children’s Center. Seventh graders gave their donation to The Alex House and eighth graders gave to The Safe House.
