Deputy Seeley Laid To Rest Following Ceremony & Procession

JAMESTOWN – Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputy Michael Seeley was remembered at the First Lutheran Church in Jamestown Friday morning before hundreds of his family, friends and colleagues.
Following the service, Seeley took a “final tour” around the towns he served. He was laid to rest at Maple Grove Cemetery in Ashville shorty after that.
The deputy’s battle with cancer was well-publicized via a Facebook page set up by friends and family. He was brought home Monday with a large procession from Cleveland, Ohio where he was receiving treatment.
The above video recapped the day’s events as a tribute to the Seeley family.
