JAMESTOWN – The Jamestown Jackals defeated the Dubois Dream, 109-97, Tuesday night to advance to a championship series.
Third year Jackal Michael Davenport had an all-around great game, tallying eight points, nine rebounds, nine assists, and six steals.
Starting center Daniel Mulamba finished with 17 points and 19 rebounds. Latrell Alford netted 25 points, with Damien Harris adding 20.
Jackals coach-turned-player Leventrice Gray added 18 points for the Jackals.
The Jackals will battle the Chautauqua Hurricane in a best-of-three series.
The first two games of the Championship Series will be on April 6th at 7:00 and April 8th at 4:00. Game 3 will be on April 10th, if necessary.
Games one and two will be played at Jamestown Community College on Friday and Sunday, with the tip times set for 7 pm and 4 pm, respectively.
