NFL linebacker Mychal Kendricks may face serious prison time after pleading guilty Tuesday to insider trading.
Kendricks spent six years as a Philadelphia Eagle after being drafted in the 2012 draft (second round). Kendricks was part of last year’s Super Bowl team.
Kendricks signed a one-year-deal with the Cleveland Browns in the offseason after he was released by the Eagles. Cleveland released him after he was indicted.
According to authorities, Kendricks received information about stock deals from an accomplice named Damilare Sonoiki. With the advice, Kendricks reeled in more than one million dollars.
Kendricks recently signed a one-year-deal with the Seattle Seahawks. The NFL suspended Kendricks indefinitely, but he’s appealing the suspension.
