BUFFALO-Randolph native and St. Bonaventure guard McKenna Maycock drained a career-high 21 points in just 21 minutes in the Women Bonnies’ crushing 71-69 overtime defeat at Canisius Wednesday evening.

Maycock shot 8-of-13 and added seven rebounds. Senior guard Mariah Ruff added a game-high 23 points, also finishing with seven rebounds for the Bonnies.

Sophomore Bonnies guard Danielle Migliore clanked a potential game-winning three off the front iron with just over a second left in overtime, giving Cansisius the W.

The Bonnies will return home Saturday for a 1:30 matinee with Eastern Michigan.

The men’s team had its home game against Maryland Eastern Shore cancelled Wednesday evening due to a power outage.  Officials from the schools have begun talks about a makeup date, but no decisions will be finalized until Thursday.

In the event that the game is rescheduled and played in the Reilly Center, all tickets fwould be good for that game only. If the game is not made up, St. Bonaventure will announce a refund/exchange policy to address this situation.

St. Bonaventure’s next game is slated for this Saturday, Nov, 18, at home against Jackson State. The game will start following the Women’s contest.
