St. Bonaventure Picks Up Commitment From Four-Star Recruit

OLEAN –  The St. Bonaventure Bonnies men’s basketball team have picked up a player commitment for next season.
On Wednesday, Justin Wilson, a West Orange, N. J. native, and an ESPN four-star recruit, put his signature on his National Letter of Intent to join the team.
Winston is also a three-star recruit, according to Rivals and 24/7 Sports.
Winston, a forward, will bring his 6’7″ frame to a Bonnies team which will have two of their other forwards, LaDarien Griffin and Courtney Stockard, graduating at the end of this season.
A graduate from Immaculate Conception High School in N.J., Winston averaged 15 points per game in his senior year on their basketball team. Immaculate Conception finished the season with a 16-7 record, and made it to the Class B private school semi-finals.
Winston also played for the NJ Playaz Club of the Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL), in the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU.) With the Playaz Club, Winston averaged 10.3 points and 4.5 rebounds per game.
Winston is currently attending the Putnam Science Academy in Putnam, CT.
