MENLO PARK, CA (CNN) — Facebook is now testing a new “downvote” button, according to multiple news reports.
TechCrunch reported that Facebook is testing the button on five percent of Android users in the United States whose language is set to English.
Facebook said the “downvote” button is not their answer to users’ requests for a “dislike” button, according to TechCrunch.
The new button allows users to signal to Facebook a comment that they believe is offensive, misleading or off-topic.
