SOUTH DAYTON – The vice chairman of the Cattaraugus County Legislature says that county lawmakers are focused on helping the family of Chairman Paula Stockman who passed away unexpected in her sleep Saturday.
Vice-Chairman James Snyder said county lawmakers will attend a wake for Stockman Wednesday,
“Last year we had to members of our legislature pass away,” said Snyder. “We’ve been exposed to a lot.”
“Paula was 64 years old a full of energy and we were just shocked that it happened.”
Relatives and friends may visit from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday (Jan. 18, 2018) at DiStasio Funeral Home, 478 Route 83 at Balcom Corners, South Dayton.
A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Friday (Jan. 19, 2018) at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 75 Center St., Gowanda.
