JAMESTOWN – Six suspects that were arrested in two separate raids made their initial appearances in city court.
Stacie Yancer, 38, Morgan Merrill-Larson, 24, and Dustin Newbree, 26, who were taken into custody by police at 22 Bassett Street, were held without bail, according to a city court clerk.
Christine Dean, 44, who was arrested in a separate raid at 238 Forest Ave, was also held and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.
All four defendants are scheduled to return to court on Wednesday.
All four suspects face charges of endangering the welfare of a child and drug possession, according to Jamestown Police.
Scott E. Verrett, 58, and Dawn Dean, 61, who were arrested along with Christine Dean on Forest Ave., were released to county probation and must return to court on May 3rd.
Last Friday, the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force, comprised of officers from Ellicott, Jamestown, and the New York State Police CNET Team, made 7 arrests in three separate raids. They reportedly confiscated more than two ounces of cocaine, methamphetimine, suboxone, cash, and drug paraphernalia, per multiple media releases received by WNY News Now.
