JAMESTOWN – Here is the latest development from a fluid situation in the area of Harrison and Foote Ave.
At 3:38 pm, WNYNewsNow cameras caught fire crews preparing to pull a body from the Chadakoin River.
As first reported by our news agency, a high-ranking law enforcement source tells WNYNewsNow’s Ryan Hedrick that a body was discovered in the Chadakoin River Tuesday.
Chautauqua County Dispatch said Jamestown Fire Crews responded to 252 Harrison Street shortly before 2:00 p.m.
Justin Gould reports that police are on the scene and that they have an area cordoned off with yellow tape.
According to the county’s public scanner, two off-duty firefighters are being summoned in to work.
Jamestown Police have not released any information about this yet.
