JAMESTOWN – A Falconer man, who was allegedly driving while intoxicated, left the roadway and ran over a tree before striking a telephone pole during an accident Wednesday afternoon on Camp Street, according to the Jamestown Police Department.
Darren Thompson, 31, was also allegedly in possession of clonazepam pills, which is a controlled substance. Thompson, who was uninjured, was charged with DWI, DWI Per Se, seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and failure to keep right.
Thompson was transported to city jail to await arraignment.
