Friends, Family Pay Last Respects To Man Discovered Deceased In Randolph Last Week

JAMESTOWN – Services were held  at Hubert Funeral Home Sunday for a Busti man whose body was discovered in Randolph last week
Wilfredo Colon Rodriguez Jr., 48, was reported missing on April 21st by a neighbor who became concerned after not to speaking him for several days, according to Lakewood-Busti Police.

Wilfredo died just two days after his 48th birthday.

Rodriguez’s obituary, posted on the funeral home’s website, describes him as a kind and proud father who loved his family and friends.

He is survived by his three children, two sisters, and six nieces and nephews.

New York State Police have not revealed a cause of death.
Last week, WNYNewsNow aired an exclusive interview with the man who discovered Rodriguez’s body near a wood pile in a wooded area in Randolph.
“They (police) asked me many questions, but I’m restricted on what I can say,” said Don Robbins.
