Hall Of Fame Quarterback Released From Hospital

NEW YORK – Bills great Jim Kelly left an area hospital on Saturday following surgery to remove extensive cancer from his body.
“Mr. Kelly was discharged from the hospital today after an extremely favorable recovery,” said Dr. Mark Urken, Head and Neck Surgeon at Mount Sinai West.
Jill Kelly Tweeted the family’s gratitude and thanked the doctors.
“Praise the LORD! So THANKFUL for Dr. Mark Urken, his team, and the rest of the amazing Mount Sinai staff,” she said.
“The speed of that process, considering the extensive nature of his surgery, was a function of his toughness, the firmness of his resolve, his faith and the support of his family. All of those factors will continue to serve him well as he moves on to the next phase of his rehabilitation,” Urken said.
In March, Jill Kelly tweeted that her husband’s oral cancer had returned.
