TORONTO – A man started firing a handgun into restaurants and cafes on Sunday killing two people and injuring 14 before dying in an exchange of gunfire with police, according to the Toronto Star.

Police officials have not ruled out terrorism in the attack that occurred in Toronto’s Greektown neighborhood.
As of 1:00 pm est., police have not identified the assailant, other than to say he was 29-years-old.
Sunday night’s mass shooting came just three months after the driver of a van plowed into pedestrians on a Toronto sidewalk, killing 10 people.
