Watch: Syracuse Fraternity Incident Prompts Sit-In

SYRACUSE – Dozens of students held a sit-in at the University Student Center on Friday.
University officials addressed the protesting students who became upset after a leaked video reportedly showing the Theta Tau Fraternity using what the school called “extremely racist, anti-Semitic, and homophobic behavior.”
Syracuse.com said the video showed members of the engineering school and fraternity making an oath: “I solemnly swear to always have hatred in my heart for n*ggers, sp*cs and most importantly the f*ckin’ k*kes.”
The fraternity, which has many chapters, is a national organization for engineers.
Syracuse’s chapter is organized by the university.
Theta Tau has since apologized, saying the video was a skit and did not reflect their personal views.
