JAMESTOWN – Devin Houghwot, 29, of Jamestown was charged Friday with driving while ability impaired by drugs.
New York State Police said they stopped Houghwot for an alleged traffic violation on Buffalo Street. Police said he failed several field sobriety tests and was transported to State Police barracks in Jamestown where he was evaluated by a State Police Drug Recognition Expert and determined to be under the influence of narcotics. Houghwot was issued tickets returnable to the City of Jamestown Court and released, to appear in the City of Jamestown Court next month.
