JAMESTOWN – Mayor Sam Teresi is hosting a local event tonight at Forte Restaurant.
The event is an annual fundraiser coordinated by the Friends of Sam Teresi, according to Chautauqua County Commissioner of Elections Norman Green.
Teresi has not announced his intention to run again, but has not ruled it out, either.
The City’s 23rd Mayor defeated former Republican Mayor Richard Kimball Jr. in 2000.
He is currently Western New York’s longest serving mayor. In 2015, he ran unopposed.
