NEW YORK-Former Congressman Anthony Weiner is scheduled to start serving his sentence on Monday.
He is required to report to the Federal Medical Center in Devens, Massachusets. Weiner is facing 21 months in prison after pleading guilty to sending obscene texts to a 15-year-old girl.
Weiner was a rising political star until his first sexting scandal broke out in 2011, which is when he resigned from office.
His biggest legal trouble, however, started last year when he was caught communicating with the teenager.
Weiner is required to register as a sex offender and receive treatment.
