BUFFALO-A 15 year-old boy arrested in Western New York is may be headed back to Florida soon to answer charges that he murdered his grandmother, according to WIVB-TV.
Logan Mott was taken into custody on Friday after police discovered a warrant for grand theft. Mott reportedly made a U-turn on the Peace Bridge and was subsequently questioned at an inspections booth.
Officials say Mott was alone in the car and was taken into custody without incident.
His grandmother, 53-year-old Kristina French, was found buried in a shallow grave in Neptune Beach, Florida. Mott has not yet been charged in his grandmother’s death.
Until the hearing is over, he will remain in the custody of the Buffalo Police.
