Chadakoin River Turns Green In Celebration Of St. Patrick’s Day

JAMESTOWN – The Chadakoin River will be turned green in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day on Saturday.
Jamestown’s annual tradition began back in the early 2000s but slowly phased out. A parade used to be a part of the celebration, but because of the construction of the South Main Street Bridge, the parade won’t occur this year.
The event is hosted by the Jamestown Community Chamber of Commerce.

The river will turn green at 10:30 A.M in the JAMA parking lot.
A livestream of the event will begin at 10:30 and will be available on demand shortly thereafter. You can also watch the festivities on our Facebook page.
