A Bit Of A Sticky Friday; A Wet But Seasonable Week Ahead

JAMESTOWN – We’ll have one more day of sunshine before rain moves our way for the weekend and the upcoming week.
Humidity ticks up a bit as well, so there will a slightly noticeable “stick” in the air this afternoon. All in all, its going to be a great finish to the workweek.
We’re keeping our eyes on a system to our west that will bring some rain to Western New York for the weekend. While we mentioned a few thundershowers could develop late tonight, a change in the newest computer data now shows the bulk of the rain by late Saturday morning or early Saturday afternoon. A chance for a couple showers throughout the night is still possible, however.
The wind will also come up for Saturday; averaging 15 to 30 MPH, with some gusts maybe up to 40 MPH at times.
