A Dry And Humid Wednesday Ahead Of A Stormy Finish To The Week

JAMESTOWN – The sun will be sharing the sky with some clouds at times today, but it will be noticeably more humid than it has been in recent days.
Dew point values will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s today, adding a very noticeable “stick” to the air, with actual air temps in the lower to mid 80s.
A front to our west will be moving in late tonight, trigging off another chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms both Thursday and Friday. While the potential does exist for some heavy rainfall at times, we think the highest probability of flooding issues will be in areas eastward. We are also not expecting any severe weather from this system at this time.
The weekend is looking nice and dry. There is a limited chance for a rain shower on Saturday, but the chance is rather small, so we’re calling it a mostly partly sunny day. However, do not be surprised if you catch a shower throughout the afternoon on Saturday.
