A Few Widely-Spaced Showers Before A Dry And Muggy Weekend

JAMESTOWN – We maybe approaching the final weekend of the summer and it will certainly feel like summer in terms of the warmth and the humidity.
For today and Friday, the potential exists for a few scattered to isolated showers or storms through the afternoon although, the potential is rather small; around 30 percent for some, 20 percent for others.
The humidity will be on the rise throughout the remainder of the week. That will add that rather nasty “stick” back into the air once again.
The weekend is looking dry with nice sunshine both days and temps in the 80s, albeit with some humidity to go along with that nice warmth.
Our eyes are on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week as we may catch some rains showers from the remnants of Hurricane Florence. While timing and exact rainfall amounts are still in question, we do believe this will be nearly the same as what we seen with Gordon earlier this week.
