JAMESTOWN – Another soggy and gloomy day is on tap for us today, but temperatures will be closer to average.
There is the chance for a light rain shower or some drizzle throughout the day, but the clouds will just be compacted together. No hint of sun today, I’m afraid.
A more steady and predominate rain looks to be in the cards for Thursday.
While there will be some pockets of heavier rainfall, we do not expect rain accumulation to be a big deal; likely around a half an inch of rain.
We are keeping our eyes on a storm system that is over Texas. That system looks to sweep across the Tennessee Valley, into the Ohio River Valley, and through parts of the Northeast by the weekend.
Right now, the track looks to remain to our south and east, but that track is ideal for creating some unsettled weather across Western New York.
A regional wintry mix is possible Friday through Saturday, as the storm system passes by.
Easter Forecast: The good news here is, we should mainly be dry, but chilly. Highs will likely be in the upper 30s. There is still the chance for a rain or snow shower, but the majority of the day will be dry.
