After A Dry Start To The Weekend, Moisture From Gordon Will Infiltrate The Region

JAMESTOWN – The muggies have finally gone away for awhile and much more comfortable air is in the cards.
We are keeping our eyes on the remnants of Tropical Depression Gordon as the Low makes its way through the Ohio River Valley through the weekend. We do expect tropical-like downpours for a period of time Sunday through early Tuesday morning.
The current QPF forecast from the Weather Prediction Center has a storm total rainfall of 2 to 4 inches. While the good news is, all of this rain will be spread over 24 or so hours, the potential does exist for some flooding issues. That is something we will need to keep our eyes on.
