JAMESTOWN – The humidity remains a factor today with the chance for scattered showers and storms through the afternoon hours today.
The NOAA Storm Prediction Center maintains the less than average Marginal Risk (1/5) for severe thunderstorms this afternoon. The main threat with storms today will be stronger wind gusts. These storms could also produce some heavy rainfall as well.
Rain chances will be with us for much of the upcoming week but keep in mind, the rain won’t be a widespread or all-day event. The rain will be scattered in nature, but there will be pockets of dry time in between.
We also don’t see the humidity relaxing anytime soon. It will remain chokingly humid through the upcoming week.
