Few Rain Showers Today; Starting Summer Sunny But Below Average

JAMESTOWN – A gloomy and soggy Wednesday is on tap for today, with some cooler temperatures.
A weak system dropping down from Michigan is producing a few rain showers for our afternoon and evening. Nothing of a big deal here, likely less than a quarter of an inch of rainfall.
Summer officially begins at 6:07 AM tomorrow morning. but the first official day of the new season will be a tad it below average. Most areas will likely top out in the mid 70s, but there will be sunshine a plenty to go around throughout the day for everybody (average high is 77).
There will be the chance of a few showers and thundershowers Friday through Sunday, with increased humidity. However, as mentioned earlier on in the week, it will not be as muggy as it was Sunday and Monday of this week. However, you will notice just a slight bit of mugginess during the weekend.
The beginning of next week is looking dry with partial sunshine, as we make at 80 once again on Tuesday.
