JAMESTOWN – Lake snow has become lighter and will continue to impact the Southern Tier through the early part of the weekend.
While the band may intensify a bit later tonight, we’re not expecting much in the snowfall department. Maybe another 2 to 4 inches on the hills and 1 to 3 along the lower elevations of the Southern Tier.
A northwest wind aloft will keep us refrigerated in the 20s through Saturday. Looking towards Sunday, the wind pattern will change to a more southerly flow with High pressure moving in. That will equate out to temps going back into the 30s and some nice sunshine through much of next week.
There is a chance we could be close to 40 come late next week.
