Loads Of Sun and Warmth Today; Freezing Rain Tomorrow Potentially

JAMESTOWN – It’s a spring-time feel out there today! There’s a lot of sun and temperatures in the 40’s.
However, rain will come our way out of the west late tonight into early tomorrow morning.
Ground temperatures could be near or just below 32, which will allow the rain to freeze on contact. Any freezing rain in the morning will change to plain rain showers by the afternoon hours on Tuesday.
The good news is this will not be a major ice event by any means. However, area roadways and sidewalks could be just a bit slick for the morning commute. Keep that in mind as you head out the door.
Temperatures shoot into the lower to mid-50’s by mid-week, which will feel fantastic.
However, you might want to take those 50’s and enjoy them while you can. We will likely start April colder than average. And that’s not an April Fools joke.
