JAMESTOWN – It’s a chilly Friday as we round out the workweek. Temperatures below average by about 10 degrees today.
A warm front to our west and south has a band of showers and thunderstorms flaring ahead of the front. While the front will move towards our region over the next couple of days, the actual front will never make it to our area, as it will stall out to our south, leaving us on the cool side of it.
The band of rain will, however, move across the region, giving us a nice soaker for the first half of the weekend.
Mother’s Day Forecast: Most of the day should be relatively dry, but a passing shower or thundershower is not out of the question. I think there will be more clouds and than, however, but a few peaks of sun are possible. Temperatures will be closer to where we should be this time of the year; mid 60s.
The 70s come back in full force next week, but the humidity does too, adding that stickiness back into the air, with a few thunderstorms by mid next week.
