JAMESTOWN – The National Weather Service has posted up a Winter Weather Advisory for all of Western New York, effective until 1:00 PM Tuesday. The presence of a Low pressure system that’s sweeping across the region, has the potential to lay down between 3 to 5 inches of fresh snowfall accumaltion by Tuesday afternoon. The snow will be the heaviest tonight and Tuesday morning, before tapering to a few snow showers Tuesday afternoon.

Tonight: Scattered to widespread snow. Cloudy. Lows ranging between 14 in the valleys to 17 at the lakeshore. North winds around 15 MPH. 3 to 4 inches of expected snowfall. Chance of snow 100%.
Tuesday: Early widespread snow, tapering to snow showers for the afternoon. Highs 18 to 21. Northwest wind 10 to 14 MPH. Total snow accumalation around 1 inch. Chance of snow 50%.
